Mid Victorian Deer Head Pendant Roman 52ct Fancy Intense Orange CushionDATE: Victorian, c. 1860 Strange and remarkable antique silver deer head dating from the mid 19th century, circa 1860. It's beautifully made, with intricately textured fur, painted glass eyes, and pedicles (the two little stumps on top of its head from which the antlers grow each year). I have no idea if it was initially intended for wear as a pendant, but there's a little bail so it certainly can be. MEASUREMENTS 3. 8 x 2. 0 x 2. 2cm WEIGHT 9. 9g
