Set of Four Elizabeth Blackwell 1st Edition Prints photo frame The perfect size for waterA set of four first edition botanical prints by Elizabeth Blackwell, c. 1739. Blackwell was an artist at the Chelsea Physic Garden, employed by the physician and naturalist Hans Sloane. The copper plates were made by Blackwell herself and the paper is handmade cotton. Each is simply mounted and framed in black; a set of prints that is a particularly pretty addition to the home.
