Georgian Vauxhall Glass Cluster Earrings seal fobs Dance (Terpsichore)DATE: Georgian, c. 1770 These fantastic cluster earrings feature Vauxhall Glass (aka mirror glass) outer stones, surrounding central pear shaped rock crystals. The name Vauxhall Glass, comes from that of a factory and pleasure gardens where the 18th Century high society would gather. These are a early example of the technique, which came in and out of fashion through the 18th and 19th Centuries, and they are quite simply magnificent. Silver settings
