Venica & Venica 'Jesera' Pinot Grigio Collio, 2024 southwest france Expertly crafted by winemakers Morgan100% Pinot Grigio from the single vineyard "Jesera", meaning "little lake" in Slovenian. The property is literally 1. 5 miles from the Slovenian border in the town of Collio, in the Friuli region of Italy. Jesera was once part of an ancient sea bed, and lies at the base of a valley near a stream. An extended maceration time gives this wine its distinct cold color. It is mostly aged in stainless steel, but around 10% of the wine goes into large barrels
