Cruiser Challenge 2026: Chaos, Competition & One Incredible Day!

If you heard cheering across the water, saw dinghies racing around Brunswick, or spotted grown adults doing things that made you wonder, “What in the world are they doing?” — you probably caught a glimpse of the 2026 Cruiser Challenge!

And what a day it was!

This year’s challenge brought together 3 contractor teams and 13 boater teams, all ready to race, laugh, strategize and tackle a course full of surprises. From the moment the teams took off, the energy was through the roof. They raced by dinghy and on foot from challenge to challenge, never quite knowing what Gina had waiting for them next!

There were puzzles to solve, targets to hit, songs to sing, ridiculous outfits to wear, teamwork to test and plenty of moments that had competitors — and volunteers — laughing until their sides hurt. Some challenges required brains, some required skill, and others simply required a willingness to look completely ridiculous in the name of victory!

But the Cruiser Challenge is about more than who crosses the finish line first. It’s about teamwork, camaraderie and making the kind of memories that will be talked about around the docks for a long time. And this year delivered all of that and more.
