Website information

Privacy that's
straightforward.

This policy explains what Brunswick Landing Marina collects through this website, why we collect it and how it is handled.

Effective August 14, 2026

The short version

We collect the details you choose to send us so the right marina or Boat Yard team can respond to your request.

Form submissions and files are kept in access-controlled systems and may be delivered to the staff responsible for the request.

We do not sell personal information submitted through this website or use it to run third-party advertising on this site.

01

Privacy at a glance

This Privacy Policy applies to the Brunswick Landing Marina website, including its forms, uploads and website features (the "Site"). It does not replace the privacy terms or notices of another service you may use through a link from this Site, such as a reservation platform, review site, social network, map, calendar or weather provider.

What this means

Using a website form is the main way you may give us personal information online. We use that information to address the request you made - not to sell it to third parties.

02

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide when you contact us or complete a form. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, vessel or business details, service request, message, employment information, authorization or agreement details, and any files or photographs you upload.

A boat-for-sale submission may also include seller or broker details, public listing contact information, asking price, vessel specifications, listing description and photographs. The fields identified as public contact and listing information may be displayed on the website and used in a marina newsletter after staff approval.

Verified boat sellers and brokers receive a private listing profile that stores their account and default public contact information so they can manage multiple vessels without re-entering those details. This profile is not a public social profile and is accessible only through its private emailed portal link.

We also receive the ordinary technical information necessary to operate and protect a website, such as the date and time of a request, browser or device information, and network or security logs.

03

How we use information

We use submitted information to respond to your inquiry, evaluate a reservation or service request, administer marina or Boat Yard operations, process an application or registration, coordinate an event or partner-program request, maintain business records, protect the Site from misuse and comply with applicable obligations.

For example, a Boat Yard request may be sent to Boat Yard staff, an events question to the events team and a marina inquiry to the Dock Office. Information submitted through the "Share your marina moments" form may be used only as described in the authorization presented with that form.

04

Forms and file uploads

When you submit a form, the submission is recorded in an access-controlled website database. If you upload a file, such as a resume, vessel photograph, insurance document or business logo, it is stored in an access-controlled file-storage system associated with the submission.

We also arrange delivery of the submission details to the appropriate Brunswick Landing Marina staff email address so the team can follow up. Uploaded files are identified in that delivery; they are retained with the submission rather than attached to every email notification.

For boat-for-sale listings, we use the submitter email to verify the submission and send a private seller-portal link, staff decisions and freshness reminders. The portal allows the verified submitter to create and manage listings, update profile defaults, change prices and details, manage photographs, reconfirm availability, and mark a vessel sold or withdrawn. Approved public listing details and photographs may be transferred to Mailchimp when an authorized staff member creates a newsletter campaign draft. Mailchimp does not receive the private portal token.

Please provide only information relevant to your request. Do not send financial-account numbers, Social Security numbers, medical information or other highly sensitive information through a general website form unless we specifically ask you to do so through a secure process.

05

When information is shared

We share information within Brunswick Landing Marina and its Boat Yard operations with the team members who need it to handle the purpose for which it was submitted. We also use service providers that help us operate the website, store form records and files, and deliver form notifications. They may process information only as needed to provide those services.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the marina, our guests, staff, property or Site; to investigate misuse; to comply with law or a valid legal request; or in connection with a business transfer, reorganization or similar transaction.

We do not sell personal information submitted through this Site.

06

Cookies and site technology

The public Site does not use advertising pixels or third-party behavioral-advertising tools. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website activity, such as pages viewed, general device and browser information, approximate location, and how visitors reach the Site. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies for this purpose. We use these reports to improve the Site and do not use them to run third-party advertising on the Site.

Some pages link to or display information from third parties, including Dockwa, Google Calendar, Google Maps, Open-Meteo, NOAA CoastWatch, social networks and review sites. When you follow a link or interact with those services, their own cookies, terms and privacy policies apply. We do not control their practices.

07

Your choices

You may choose not to provide information through a form. In that case, we may be unable to respond to the request or provide the service you are asking about online. You can contact the Dock Office directly at 912-262-9264 if you prefer to speak with someone.

If you would like to update, correct or ask about information you previously submitted, contact us using the details below. We will consider the request in light of the information involved, the purpose for which it was submitted and any legal or operational recordkeeping requirements.

08

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to limit access to form submissions and uploaded files. No online system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to address the request, administer our operations, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. The appropriate retention period depends on the type of submission and its purpose.

09

Children's privacy

This Site is intended for adults and businesses seeking marina, Boat Yard or community information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can review the matter.

10

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site, our forms or our data practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Any updated policy will be posted on this page.
