Saturday evening was one of those nights that reminded us just how special our marina community really is. Our Low Country Boil brought everyone together in the Yacht Club for an evening filled with incredible food, live music, plenty of laughter, and a whole lot of marina spirit.

The star of the evening was, of course, the food, and we have local chef Taylor Gann and his wife to thank for creating such an incredible meal. Together, they prepared a mouthwatering Low Country Boil loaded with all the traditional favorites and fresh, local Georgia shrimp that practically melted in your mouth. From the first scoop to the last, it was clear they put a lot of time and love into preparing a meal for everyone to enjoy.

Our boaters also brought an amazing assortment of side dishes to share, and as usual, they did not disappoint. Plates were piled high, the tables were full, and there certainly wasn't anyone leaving hungry!

In fact, there wasn't an open seat to be found in the Yacht Club. Friends and neighbors filled the tables, catching up, laughing, and enjoying a great meal together. Seeing the Yacht Club packed with so many familiar faces made the night even more special.

While everyone ate, Ashton, a player from Hot Banana Coffee, provided the perfect soundtrack for the evening. His music filled the Yacht Club, and the vibe was definitely on. Great food, live music, and a crowd ready to have a good time made for the perfect combination.

At one point during the evening, everyone joined together to sing our Brunswick Landing Marina Shanty. It didn't take long before the whole room got into the spirit. Voices filled the Yacht Club, and there were plenty of smiles and laughs as everyone sang along. It was one of those fun marina moments that perfectly captured what our community is all about.

As the evening began to wind down, Ashton saved something special for the end. He finished the night with “Stairway to Heaven,” and when the final note faded, the Yacht Club erupted into a standing ovation. It was the perfect ending to an already incredible evening and a performance that won't soon be forgotten.

From Taylor and his wife’s mouthwatering Low Country Boil and the tables overflowing with homemade sides to the live music, laughter, marina shanty, and an unforgettable final song, the entire evening was a huge success.

A heartfelt thank you to Taylor Gann and his wife for preparing such an amazing meal, to Ashton for sharing his music with us, and to everyone who brought a dish, sang along, and helped make the evening so much fun.

Nights like this are about so much more than a good meal. They're about filling the Yacht Club with friends, sharing food and laughter, singing a little too loudly, and making memories together.

Fresh Georgia shrimp, a packed Yacht Club, great friends, live music, and a standing ovation to end the night—now that's a Low Country Boil to remember!
