Brunswick Landing Marina was taken over by pirates on Saturday, October 24th, as our annual Plunder the Piers brought out the swashbuckling spirit in everyone! From pirate costumes and creative decorations to delicious food and plenty of grog, our docks transformed into a pirate's paradise for an evening of laughter, friendship, and a little friendly competition.
Boaters dressed in their pirate best and made their way from dock to dock, enjoying themed drinks, tasty treats, and some truly impressive pirate hideouts. Each participating dock went all out to impress their fellow cruisers, proving once again that our marina knows how to throw a party!
This year's winners were determined by our Boater's Choice Awards, with participants casting their votes for the best food, costumes, drinks, and decorations. After tallying all those voting scrolls, the results were in!

Category Winners:
Best Food – Dock 4
Best Costumes – Dock 14/15
Best Drink – Dock 7
Best Decorations – Dock 7
Overall Plunder the Piers Champions:
🥇 1st Place – Dock 7, with a whopping 1,217 points!
🥈 2nd Place – Dock 14/15, with 1,101 points!
🥉 3rd Place – Dock 4, with 872 points!
4th Place – Dock 9, with 749 points!
5th Place – Dock 13, with 723 points!
And here's a little pirate history worth celebrating! This marks the second year in a row that Dock 7 has claimed the Plunder the Piers championship! With back-to-back victories, these pirates have certainly proven they know how to defend their treasure! Congratulations to the reigning champions of Dock 7 for once again taking home the coveted winning dock plaque and another year of bragging rights. The question now is, can anyone steal their crown next year?
But the real treasure of the evening wasn't found in a chest of gold. It was the laughter, camaraderie, and wonderful friendships that make Brunswick Landing Marina such a special place.
A heartfelt thank-you to every dock that participated, everyone who decorated, prepared food and drinks, dressed up, and helped make this event such a success. And thank you to all our pirates who sailed from pier to pier and cast their votes!
