Thirty boats from Brunswick Landing Marina headed to our new sister marina, St. Marys Marina, for the Big Boat Tour—a complimentary weekend that brought our boating community together on the St. Marys waterfront and helped put the new facilities through their paces.
It was a chance for our customers to get to know the new marina, enjoy a different downtown waterfront and play a part in getting the facility ready to welcome more boaters.
A weekend with a purpose
The Big Boat Tour gave the St. Marys team something that preparations alone cannot provide: a real weekend with boats in the slips and customers using the facilities. Our visiting boaters helped give the marina a practical, real-world test while enjoying a complimentary stay.
The result was encouraging: everything performed as expected. Having our Brunswick Landing Marina customers there helped the team put its preparations into practice and marked an exciting early milestone for our sister marina.
A warm welcome in downtown St. Marys
The weekend was about more than the marina. Our boaters had wonderful things to say about downtown St. Marys, from its shops and restaurants to the friendly people they met along the way. They were already looking forward to coming back.
That welcome made the visit especially memorable. Thank you to the St. Marys community for making our customers feel at home and showing them what makes this waterfront town such a special place to visit.

And to our Brunswick Landing Marina boaters: thank you for making the trip, helping us test the facilities and being part of this first chapter at St. Marys Marina. The Big Boat Tour was a chance to carry the sense of community we enjoy in Brunswick to a new place on the Georgia coast.
